A Message Regarding COVID-19
BMS understands the uncertainty our customers may be experiencing regarding the COVID-19 virus and the potential impact any major business interruption within our operation may have on them. We would like to assure you that one of our major priorities has always been the safety and well-being of our employees. With this in mind, BMS continues to implement all precautions that are being periodically published by the CDC in order to protect our associates, customers, suppliers and others we interact with on a daily basis. This includes their recommendation to practice “social distancing”, which involves limiting business travel and supporting a virtual work environment whenever feasible. Our ability to do so is positively impacted by the significant investments we have made in our technology solutions. With this in mind, you may notice less frequent visits from our Account Executive team for a period of time. Please be assured the BMS team will continue to be available to support your needs. This includes the ability to facilitate virtual meetings to assist in ongoing communications.
Even with these precautions, we recognize the importance of a contingency plan should there be a need for one. We want to assure our valued customers that BMS has a formalized disaster recovery and a business continuity plan in place to continue operations should there be an event that causes an interruption of our business.
We also recognize that cybercriminals may use this time to attempt to launch attacks on critical IT systems by citing the latest virus updates. Please be assured that the protocols and security systems we have in place will allow us to continue to be very diligent in protecting our customer’s valuable and sensitive data.
Should you have any questions or need further clarification on BMS’s approach and systems related to dealing with the COVID-19 virus, please reach out to your BMS representative. Of course, given the health and safety of our employees and our customers is a top priority, we will continue to monitor the progression of COVID-19 and will keep you advised of any adjustments to our plans as new information becomes available.
